Description
16mm Pert Al Pert Pipe
Pert Al Pert pipe is a European standard multi-layered pipe consisting of five layers and combining the properties of a metal and plastic pipe. It is a high-temperature flexible plastic pressure pipe. The inner and outer layers of this pipe are made of flexible pert material, allowing it to be used with 95℃ hot water. The middle core layer is made of aluminium, which is diffusion-tight and prevents the permeation of oxygen or any other gas into the pipe. Pert-Al-Pert pipe is a reliable product for underfloor heating. Combining the benefits of plastic and aluminium, it has remarkable physical strength and excellent flexibility, enabling it to last up to 50 years.
A 16mm Pert-Al-Pert pipe efficiently compensates and reduces snap-back forces and heat expansions with changing temperatures, making it convenient to use as a floor heating pipe.
Composition
The 16mm Pert-Al-Pert pipe comprises an innermost and outermost layer of polyethene pipe, with a central aluminium layer. Along with these are two layers of adhesives that surround the aluminium layer to finally form a multiple-layered pipe.
A: PERT layers | B: Adhesive layers | C: Intermediate aluminium layer

FAQs
What is a Pert material?
Pert is a polyethene resin in which molecules are arranged in the form of tie chains, which allows efficient pipe usage at elevated temperatures as well. The tie chains improve the pipe’s characteristic properties, elevating its temperature strength and overall performance and enhancing its resistance against chemicals and slow crack growth.
For what purpose is Pert Al Pert pipe used?
Pert Al Pert pipes are used in different heating and plumbing applications.
What is the cost of the Pert Al Pert pipe?
The price of Pert Al Pipe ranges from £77.00 to £231.00.
Which lengths of Pert Al Pert pipes are available?
We have different lengths of Pert Al Pert pipes available, such as:
- 100m
- 200m
